Meet Dr. Niousha Saghafi
Dr. Niousha Saghafi is a board-certified orthodontist who takes great pleasure in her work. With an unwavering passion for orthodontics, Dr. Saghafi has dedicated her life to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles while building meaningful connections with both her team and her patients. Having undergone orthodontic treatment at a young age herself, Dr. Saghafi is familiar with how much a beautiful smile can positively impact people’s lives.
A Southern California native, Dr. Saghafi pursued her love of science and medicine at UC San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. This academic foundation, combined with her natural affinity for art and helping others, led her to the field of dentistry.
Dr. Saghafi went on to attend dental school at the University of California, San Francisco, where she excelled in her dental studies and developed a strong foundation in all aspects of dentistry. After earning her dental degree, she pursued her dream of becoming an orthodontist by completing a rigorous residency program at the University of Washington in Seattle. During her time there, she received extensive training in the latest orthodontic techniques and procedures working with a diverse patient population, including children, teens, and adults.
Following her residency, Dr. Saghafi began her orthodontic career in the SF Bay Area, where she has since helped countless patients achieve stunning smiles. Committed to offering the highest standard of care, she completed the rigorous examination process to obtain her board certification in orthodontics. She keeps herself up-to-date with the latest advances in orthodontic treatment through continuing education seminars and conferences.
When she is not at work, Dr. Saghafi cherishes spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her two cats. She loves cooking and baking and is always experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading. In her leisure time, she can often be found tending to her plants, exploring new destinations, or curled up with a good book.
