Meet Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott is passionate about orthodontics, and helping others. He enjoys the challenge of each new orthodontic case, and the reward of seeing his patients' bright, confident smiles after treatment is complete. Dr. Scott is proud to be serving Fairfield and the surrounding communities, and he looks forward to working with you and your family.

Education

Dr. Scott began his journey toward becoming an orthodontist in 1994 when he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of General Sciences degree. He then went on to receive his dental degree from the same reputable institution in 1998. After graduating, Dr. Scott moved west to California where he continued his education serving in the military's Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base. In 2003, Dr. Scott completed his formal orthodontic training at Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

Continuing Education

Dr. Scott participates regularly in continuing education courses as a way to maintain the highest standards and continue offering the latest orthodontic treatments to his patients. He is a member of several esteemed professional organizations offering continuing education opportunities, including the:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • American Dental Association
  • Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
  • Napa-Solano Dental Society
  • California Association of Orthodontists

Dr. Scott also serves as the Ethics Chairman of the Napa-Solano Dental Society, and is a certified Invisalign® provider.

When he's away from the practice, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with his wonderful family. Dr. Scott is a native of Pennsylvania, and since 2003, he has lived in Vacaville with his wife, Lisa, and two daughters, Sydney and Scarlett. He is an active member of the community, and participates in the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce, as well as sponsors several local sports teams. When he's not at the practice, Dr. Scott likes playing the guitar and piano, wake boarding, skiing, waterskiing, mountain biking, golfing, traveling, and photography.
